Default Enable DIVX, Disable FFDSHOW

Hi Guys,

I recently brought the divx pro player and codec.

Is it possible to have DivX decode my videos in BSplayer.

Apparently I need to disable ffdshow. I've ran the ffdshow uninstaller and it didn't show any errors. Unfortunately the picture quality is not divx like, it still looks washed out like ffdshow.

How can I tell bsplayer to utilise the divx codec for my movies? What settings do i need to change and where?

You can check which codecs/filters BSPlayer is actually ising for a specific video-file, by loading that file and then ...
... rightclick > Options > Filters > Advanced
Clicking on 'Source' and on the small [+]-signs in front of the codecs/filters shown will reveal further info and access.

You can manage which filters/codecs BS.Player should (either not of preferably) be utilizing, by uning BS.Player's Filter management: ...
... rightclick > Options > Preferences > Filter management.. etc.

(If you're planning to use DivX6 or 7, be aware that these (bloated) codecs may well be not working and/or causing problems; also they cannot decode several other types of video, contrary to ffdshow, which has a much wider scope of operation.)
