I simply use Ariel (I've selected yellow colour) and (under {rightclick} > Options > Preferences > Subtitles) I've set with respect to font: Use outline font (so that e.g. a white font is still visible on a white background) Use anti-aliased font Transparent background

If you just have the default Windows' fonts, "Verdana" is the only one that has been specially designed and optimized for 'Screens'. Almost all fonts look good, but in theory 'Verdana' should be one of the better ones. Bye, Luis. |
