Well did you try them? There is a post about problems with a multimedia keyboard (or rather software) over here : http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=6661 The topic also contains some info on how to set your multimedia keys. Hope this is of help to you. Rafke P. |

I tried pressing my multimedia keys but they do not portray any effect on BS. I have a MS Natural Keyboard Pro, and could possibly obtain the codes from Winamp... Maybe just cutting and pasting those codes can work? Will try. Update: can't find any code in winamp.ini So how can i use my multimedia keys? If it is at all possible. |

Hi, friend! Firstly, excuse any error, english isn't my usual language. Well, I also use Itouch, and found a PLAYERS.INI file on its directory; I don't have the knowledge to do so, but I think that is possible to add a line with parameters to control BSplayer too... It inclusive contains the syntax that should be used! If you can get anything, please post the "how-to-do" in this topic! Best regards Marcus Vinícius Follows the containing of the file: PLAYERS.INI # # #List of supported players #{btn|key|msg|emg|cmd|wac},exeName,wndClass,wndCap tion,xxx,play_delayplay,pause,stop,prev,next,remov e_flags,ShowOSD,menu_item [Players] MSPlain=btn,cdplayer.exe,SJE_CdPlayerClass,xxx,xxx ,1000,1001,1002,1003,1006,0,1,Windows CD-Player MSW2kCD=wac,cdplayer.exe,MMFRAME_MAIN,xxx,xxx,xxx, xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Windows CD-Player MSDeluxe=btn,deluxecd.exe,MMFRAME_MAIN,xxx,xxx,104 ,104,105,109,110,0,1,Windows Deluxe CD-Player WinAmp=wamp,winamp.exe,Winamp v1.x,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,0,WinAmp WinAmp3=key,studio.exe,STUDIO,xxx,xxx,X,C,V,Z,B,0, 1,WinAmp 3 WinAmp3d=key,winamp3.exe,STUDIO,xxx,xxx,X,C,V,Z,B, 0,1,WinAmp 3d Sonique=key,sonique.exe,Sonique Window Class,xxx,xxx,X,C,V,Z,B,0,1,Sonique MSMedia=key,xxx,MPlayer,xxx,xxx,0x10,0x10,0x13,0,0 ,0,1,Windows Media Player MSMedia2=wac,xxx,Media Player 2,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Windows Media Player MSMedia7=wac,wmplayer.exe,WMP Skin Host,Windows Media Player,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Windows Media Player 7 MSMediaX=wac,mplayer2.exe,WMP Skin Host,Windows Media Player,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Windows Media Player MSMedia9=wac,wmplayer.exe,WMPlayerApp,Windows Media Player,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Windows Media Player 9 CineMaster=cin,dvdplayer.exe,AfxFrameOrView42,QI Remote Control,xxx,12,15,16,11,13,0,1,Cine Master CineMaster2=btn,dvdplayer.exe,#32770,xxx,xxx,1014, 1020,1029,1022,1028,0,1,Cine Master Virtuosa=cmd,xxx,VirtuosaWndClass,xxx,xxx,0x8046,0 x8045,0x8044,0x8040,0x8041,0,0,Virtuosa MediaMatics=msg,cdvdplay.exe,xxx,DVDExpress Video,xxx,7033,7036,7039,7035,7037,0,1,Media Matics Axialis=btn,AXCDPLay.exe,AXCDPlayer20Class,xxx,xxx ,112,113,114,115,116,0,1,Axialis Axialis25=btn,AXCDPLay.exe,AXCDPlayer25Class,xxx,x xx,112,113,114,115,116,0,1,Axialis WillowPond=cmd,wpmedia.exe,xxx,CPlayerDlg,xxx,609, 610,611,607,608,0,1,Willow Pond RealOne=wac,realplay.exe,GeminiWindowClass,xxx,xxx ,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,RealOne Player RealPlayer8=btn,realplay.exe,PNGUIClass,xxx,xxx,20 01,2014,2002,2015,2016,0,1,RealPlayer 8 RealPlayer=btn,realplay.exe,xxx,RealPlayer,3000,20 01,2014,2002,3108,3109,0,1,RealPlayer RealJukebox=btn,realjbox.exe,PNGUIClass,RealJukebo x,3000,1003,1004,1005,1006,1007,0,1,Real Jukebox MusicMatch=cmd,MMJB.EXE,xxx,MusicMatch Jukebox 4,xxx,0x101F4,0x18059,0x101F5,0x101F6,0x101F7,0,1, MusicMatch MusicMatch7=cmd,MMJB.EXE,MMJB:MAINWND,xxx,xxx,0x10 1F4,0x18059,0x101F5,0x101F6,0x101F7,0,1,MusicMatch DVDPlayer=btn,dvdplay.exe,#32770,DVD Player,xxx,1000,1003,1001,1007,1006,0,1,DVD Player LiquidMusic4=emg,LiquidMusicPlayer.exe,xxx,Liquid Music Player,xxx,0x02020201,0x0001,0xAA00AA,0x02020201,0 x0001,0xAA008C,0x02020201,0x0001,0xAA006E,0x020202 01,0x0001,0xAA004D,0x02020201,0x0001,0xAA00C8,0,1, Liquid Music LiquidMusic5=emg,LiquidPlayer.exe,xxx,Liquid Player,xxx,0x02020201,0x0001,0xAA00AA,0x02020201,0 x0001,0xAA008C,0x02020201,0x0001,0xAA006E,0x020202 01,0x0001,0xAA004D,0x02020201,0x0001,0xAA00C8,0,1, Liquid Music SoftDVDMax=btn,SoftDVD.exe,xxx,xxx,xxx,2120,2121,2 122,2138,2139,0,1,Soft DVD Max PowerDVD=wac,PowerDVD,Class of CyberLink Universal Player,PowerDVD,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Power DVD WinDVD=wac,WinDVD.exe,WinDVDClass,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx, xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Win DVD YahooPlayer=btn,yplayer.exe,Yahoo_MediaPlayer_Clas s,xxx,xxx,3000,3004,3003,3001,3002,0,1,Yahoo Player CreativePlayCenter=wac,ctplay.exe,CTPlayCenter,xxx ,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,1,1,Creative Play Center CreativePlayCenter2=wac,ctplay2.exe,PlayCenter2Cla ss,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,1,1,Creative Play Center CreativeMediaSource=wac,ctcms.exe,#32770,Creative MediaSource,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,1,1,Creative MediaSource AudioStation=key,AudioStation.exe,VSpotSite,xxx,xx x,P,U,S,B,N,0,1,AudioStation AudioStation6=key,AudioStation.exe,AudioStation6Ma inWnd,xxx,xxx,^p,^u,^s,^b,^n,0,1,AudioStation 6 QuickTime=wac,QuickTimePlayer.exe,xxx,Apple QuickTime,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Apple QuickTime QuickTime6=wac,QuickTimePlayer.exe,xxx,QuickTimePl ayer,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Apple QuickTime AtiMMC=wac,atimmc.exe,AfxWnd42,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx ,xxx,0,1,Ati Multimedia Center CinePlayer=wac,cineplayer.exe,xxx,Sonic CinePlayer Control Panel,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Sonic CinePlayer iTunes=wac,iTunes.exe,iTunes,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,x xx,xxx,0,1,iTunes MDesktop=wac,MDesktop.exe,MediaDesktopClass,Media Desktop,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Media Desktop

Hi Marcus, Like I said before i don't have any experience with those keyboards, but looking at the ini-file it tells me the following ... I only had a look at winamp and I GUESS (not sure) that it means : Quote:
key -> the Itouch keys simulate KEYboard shortcuts studio.exe -> the actual application (not sure I don't have winamp 3) STUDIO -> (no clue whatsoever, maybe the Class name) xxx,xxx -> I guess these parameters are not used when you specified "key"before. X -> play C -> pause v -> stop z -> previous b -> next 0,1 -> not sure, always used I guess Winamp -> name of the application. Now with all these assumptions you could try the following for BSplayer: Quote:
Let us know how it went and I will look into some more if needed. Good luck, Rafke P. |

Hi, Rafke! Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your kind attention; reading your post, I finnaly understood - or, at less I think so... - the syntax of the file. I tryied to paste the line that you wrote, but it didn't worked. Then I worked over your explanation without any results. After this, I looked for these arguments at internet and and at last I found a topic about this in a French forum. The correct syntax is: Quote:
I thank you again yours concern and support, and hope that this may be useful to others users. Regards from Brasil, Marcus Vinícius |

i see this works with iTouch but i am using SetPoint 2.47, does this make any difference? I looked the player.ini up. I opened it and i found this: #List of supported players #{btn|key|msg|emg|cmd|wac},exeName, wndClass, wndCap tion,xxx,play_delayplay,pause,stop,prev,next,remov e_flags,ShowOSD,menu_item [Players] MSMedia=key,xxx,MPlayer,xxx,xxx,0x10,0x10,0x13,0,0 ,0,1,Windows Media Player [Players.Run] MediaCenter=path,$WINDOWS\eHome [Players.Display] MediaCenter=Windows Media Center #{btn|key|msg|emg|cmd|wac},start, end, repeat start,,Donot send Play appcommand at end of FastForward operation [Players.Seek] MusicMatch7=cmd,22861,xxx,1 #{btn|key|msg|emg|cmd|wac},start, end, repeat start,Donot send Play appcommand at end of rewind operation [Players.Rewind] MusicMatch7=cmd,22860,xxx,1,0 #list of Burn UI players (available on Burn button) [Players.BurnSupported] MSMedia9=True #list of Record UI players (available on Record button) [Players.RecordSupported] MSMedia9=True #list of 10" UI players (available on remote button) [Players.IsRemote] MDesktop=Trues the list above was much larger but i just removed all the other players (not in the real ini of course :D) i already tried to add BSPlayer=key, bsplayer.exe,BSPlayer,BSPlayer v1.02,xxx,X,C,V,Z,B,0,1,BSPlayer but that didn't work out (i am using 1.36) would that make any difference? |

I have logitech G-15 and keys are working on the first press... afterwards focus is transffered from movie window somewhere else and if i don't click on movie window againg they don't work :( Funny thing is that play/pause key is working always :). Similar thing happens with movie split in two files. After the first is ended focus is transffered to tray app, can't remember the name of it, and taskbar is shown although movie on monitor is displayed in full screen mode.

I found the perfect solution to have all the keys work perfectly with any Logitech multimedia product. This will work only if you have the key configurations as follows: C: Pause Z: Prev B: Next V: Stop W: Seek forward Q: Seek backward First, open up "players.ini" Under [Players] add the following line: Code: BSPlayer=key,bsplayer.exe,BSPlayer,BSPlayer,xxx,C,C,V,Z,B,0,1,BSPlayer Code: BSPlayer=path,C:\Program Files\BSplayerPro From key configurations in BSPlayer, assign "W" key for seek foward and Under [Players.Seek] add the following line: Code: BSPlayer=key,W,,1,1 Under [Players.Rewind] add the following line: Code: BSPlayer=key,Q,,1,1 |

With respect to Multimedia keyboards perhaps also check out item (d) under "MISCELLANEOUS" of my Help2Help-post, titled: (d) Girder / WinLIRC / Remote controls / (Multimedia) Keyboard ? (especially the link it contains to darkain's post)
