Problem with audio streams (sorry for my bad english....) I've a movie with 2 audio streams: 1. Hungarian MP3 2. English AC3 but in the Audio menu, all options are disabled, except Equalizer... I'm using DivX 6 Pro, and I tried switching audio streams with the DivX Setting Manager, but there are no audio output when Audio Track 2 is selected :( I think everything is OK with my system, everything works fine - except this one. :( :( :( |

Check under (rightclick >) Options > Filters > Advanced (with a movie file loaded). What is shown there with respect to audio? Do you use AC3filter? If yes: which version?

Brrrr.... a codec pack :( Quote:
Maybe a newer version of AC3filter? (I personally still use the old 0.70b version, so I've no experience with v.1.0+.) Check the link AC3Filter v1.0+ under item (4) of my Help2Help-post. PS: At the Free-codecs AC3Filter-page (the link in my post will bring you there) there is an "Important Note" reading: There is a bug in the AC3 Filter 0.70b (and perhaps later versions) that prevents it from working well with Media Files that contain multiple AC3 Audio Tracks. Installing AC3 Filter 0.7b FIX will solve the problem (this fix doesn't contain all files, install standard version first!)

Maybe you can add it to BSplayer Blacklist filters' list (CTRL+P -> Filters management -> Blacklist). Or you can try to unregister DivXMedia.ax filter. If those options don't work, since I never installed DivX6 and I don't know if there's an option to disable DivX Demuxer within DivX configuration window, I suggest you to install DivX v5.2.1. Probably J7N will suggest you to not install DivX Networks software... Probably FFDShow instead. At you the choice

Stargate is good. But the file format... If VirtualDubMod opens it then it must be either Ogg, Matroska or AVI. I say get rid of that DivX Demuxer. If it is an Ogg file, you install OggDS, if it is a Matroska file – Gabest's Matroska Splitter, AVI – install nothing and use M$ default splitter. |
