BS.Player FREE doesn't support DVD playback, though it can play the VOB-files, provided you have a suitable MPEG2 decoder installed. However, I do think that you could use external subtitles like e.g. srt-subs. (Didn't try though!)

1. when inserting dvd and choosing "play dvd", BSPlayer uses InterVideo video decoder. Subtitles working OK, the dvd start playback from the normal position. 2, When choosing the same thing as DizzyBone, the filters are Elecard's ones and seems there are no subtitles available. I will do some tests with different dvds and post if anything interested it's found. dvd playback does not start from the begining, but from the second menu. Menu..chapters...are also unavailable. @DizzyBone if you select play dvd when you insert the disk, is there any difference ? |

I don't have any DVD discs, i only watch dvdr movie releases i download. I downloaded Elecard's filter but it's still like there are no subtitles. I also tried with other movies, the result is the same.
