Default DVDR & subtitles

I can't play subtitles off a DVDR. If i right-click the VIDEO-TS and click play in BSplayer there are no options for subtitles (picture3). Can anyone help me?

BS.Player FREE doesn't support DVD playback, though it can play the VOB-files, provided you have a suitable MPEG2 decoder installed.
However, I do think that you could use external subtitles like e.g. srt-subs. (Didn't try though!)

1. when inserting dvd and choosing "play dvd", BSPlayer uses InterVideo video decoder. Subtitles working OK, the dvd start playback from the normal position.

2, When choosing the same thing as DizzyBone, the filters are Elecard's ones and seems there are no subtitles available. I will do some tests with different dvds and post if anything interested it's found. dvd playback does not start from the begining, but from the second menu. Menu..chapters...are also unavailable.

@DizzyBone

if you select play dvd when you insert the disk, is there any difference ?

I don't have any DVD discs, i only watch dvdr movie releases i download. I downloaded Elecard's filter but it's still like there are no subtitles. I also tried with other movies, the result is the same.

I had the same problem myself. I found out that only after I burned the movie on a DVD I did get the subtitles. It appears that, probably, the subtitles load only after the burn...

You really should buy one. They are not that expensive. Burned DVD-R's are much better to watch with a stand-alone DVD-player. Also DVD-R's are big files to keep on a hard drive. You can free up a lot of disk space burning those to discs and also they are then more safe.

He won't delete the file because he need seeding them. But anyhow, 20E for a DVD burner it's not expensive even for Slovenia.

But the bug it's still there. BSPlayer opens differently the same DVD, and I am talking about a burned DVD not one on HDD.
