Subs keep showing editor comments... So an example would be: Look Out! { Not sure about this } I.e The editors comments. What its supposed to only show is: Look Out! Can anyone help? I am using BS Player ver 2.41 on Vista with CCCP 2009. Thanks! |

Type of subs? Comments in conformity with the defined standard for those subs? Remove comments? Download SubTool 2.6 Free - This program can edit MicroDVD and SubRip subtitles. - Softpedia

Hmmm...so there no way to do it without installing some other stuff? Type of subs...um... its not a separate file, its within the mkv file, but I know its definitely not burnt into the image. I dont understand your second question I dont really want to have to use a program for every single video I watch...isnt there an option in BS player to do this for me? Coz other players dont show the comments. I just want to know, is it just me? Or is it like this for everyone else? Thanks |

Um, Im not really sure, how do I check if its ssa/ass? All i know is that there is no separate file for subtitles, that its inside the mkv i think. And what subtitle engine? I dunno what that is, I got the latest BS Player now, but it still doesn't work.... |

Usually, anime / manga come with ASS/SSA subtitles. BSPlayer doesn't have full support for this subtitle format. A fair support, though, it's made possible if you use the new subtitle rendering engine. It can be activated by going to preferences -> subtitles -> use new engine. As for the mkv file, any media info can ell you that info. Even VirtualDubMOD. |
