This Problem occured to me when I double click an .avi file, but only on one specific file. Not every file gives this
error.
The Problem is solved when I first open the program bsplayer, and then open the file.
After this, I put the file on cd. Another problem occured. Again, when double clicking the file, it gives the
same error.
After that, I put the cd-rom into my laptop and double click the file for the first time. And it worked, bsplayer started just perfectly !! My laptop has the same version of bsplayer. :P
I closed bsplayer, waited a few seconds, and double clicked the file again, but this time, the
error occured again, and
again. I tried many times.
After that, I rebooted my laptop. And I double clicked the file again, it worked. :P I closed bsplayer, and tried double clicking the file again, it failed, and again
the same error.
There where 2 files on the cd-rom, an .avi file and a .srt file. When bsplayer starts, it automaticly loads the .srt file, Vobsub also does that. So I decided to uninstall vobsub, a program that shows subtitles. :P
I rebooted, and it worked!! Vobsub is only bugging bsplayer for the second time the file opens.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
:!: But there are differend types of files with subtitles inside. .avi and .ogm.
.avi : If you want to play these files with subtitles inside, you have to install
vobsub
.ogm : You don't need
vobsub, only the
ogm codec!
And, if you have both
vobsub and the
ogm codec installed, you have double subtitles! 8)
This really could be a problem. Would it be possible to merge vobsub and bsplayer :?:
I hope this information is usefull for you!
