I have not enough time now, to study some idea, but i find something:

For instance, the Ac3 filter (http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/) has only one file, the ac3filter.ax, but it copies itself to the system32 folder, under the name ac3filter.cpl.

For normal filter operation all accompaniment files are not required and shipped only for serviceability. The only required module is ac3filter.ax. This module is also Control Panel configuration module for itself. For W2K+ it can be registred in registry key [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Con trol Panel\Cpls]. But for W98 compatibility at installation it is copied to windows system folder with .cpl extension.

Now i think, that if Bsplayer calls the setup panel of the Ac3 filter, it happens via rundll32. I think it good, or not?

The second is, that Bsplayer stores many configuration in the registry, not in an .ini file.

(I beg a pardon, if i make a mistake in english)
