Default BSplayer crashes at loading of most XViD's

Hi, my BSplayer (latest version, just downloaded it today) crashes almost each time when i want to play a xvid movie. i think it has something to do with the configuration of the codecs, but i'm not sure. the message i get when it crashes is as followes:

BSPlayer v0.86.493, Unhandled exception at EIP: 1D1C4E86
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.

the only options are 'close' and 'continue'. when i press either one of them i get to the next screen with the message:

Bytes at EIP: 8B 08 FF 51 10 85 C0 7D 11 EB 5D 33 C0 8D 7D F0 AB AB

also the only options are again 'close' or 'continue'. I'm using the divxpro bundle 5.02 and the nimo codec pack (also the latest version, downloaded it a week ago). i have no clue what options i need to enable or whatsoever, but i do know that i need help with this. my system is as followes:
msi-6330 k7tpro2 mainboard with amd athlon 800 cpu and 256 mb sdram
geforce 2 mx200 32 mb videocard
terratec dmx 6fire 24/96 audiocard

can anyone help me with this problem???
