 Scrol up and scroll down shortcut key

I set my scroll wheel to change the window size in window mode and to seek 10 seconds forward / back in full screen mode. My mouse works fine however I notice sometimes bsplayer "forgets" this shortcut and sometimes I have to close and reopen it. Other times I have to hit other keys before it remembers. I find this really annoying, can someone verify this problem?
