After reading that :

I had the following reflection about the behaviour of this option:
http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic....r=asc&start=22
Short summary:
In the past bsplayer used to uncheck the "shutdown computer" option when openning a new video file.
As bspeter says, it is "more a preferred feature and a very sensible and wise precaution". And he is true, it was avoiding the pc to auto shutdown at next bsplayer launch.
But this was particularly anoying when playing a playlist since the option was uncheked when second item was loaded.
In the current version, this has been fixed : when the option is cheked, it only happens at the end of the playlist.
But the previous "precaution" has been removed : the option is not uncheked when starting a new bsplayer (usualy the next day...).
So, here is what a suggest :
- the current "playlist" behaviour is maintained : the option is only used on the last item of the playlist
- the option is always uncheked when starting a new bsplayer
- a new feature is added to bsplayer : either a keyboard shortcut or a button will allow to activate the shutdown option

If the new feature is not the priority for developpers team, the second point fix should be sufficient!
Thank you!
