Bingo! I have a 854x480 projector and that's why i am wonderin about this resolution thing.

But what does "syncs at specific resolution" mean?
Means, displays only at that resolution?

I use windows at 1280x720 resolution. While playing video files, should i swtich it to 640x480 from BSPlayer for better image quality? For sharper picture?
