The most often asked question:
What is the difference between AC3 and Aud-X?? The Bitrate. This offers high quality 5.1 sound @ 128 kbps.
(AC3 normally has 384 or 448 kbps).
Also, there are other bitrate options available in Aud-X,
i.e. 192 kbps and even 80 kbps!

The format is fully compatible with AVI container

So now you can fit a complete 1.5 hour movie on one CD-R,
with 5.1 sound which uses the same space as normal stereo would (for 128 kbps).

What is important, when you decode the movie containing Aud-X stream, you can plug your home theatre system to your sound card (assuming it has SPDiF output), and enjoy full surround sound on all speakers (because the decoded Aud-X stream is transcoded to AC3, if you chose so)
If you have further questions, I will be happy to answer
