Hello,
There is several days since i deal with this problem and i've get rid of it at last! I went to a minimal (but enough and necessary short list of codecs) and now it works fine. I give my list hereafter.
Ok, here the procedure to follow:
- first, get the latest version of BsPlayer (uuh!)
- in the properties, 'general' tab, tick 'don't load DivX settings'
- in the properties, 'video' tab, tick 'use overlay - mode 1' (i went in a LOT of trouble with mode 2)
- try to read your favourite movie ...
If your VDOz are still upside down, get the wonderful FFDSHOW DirectShow filter (specially version 23-sep-2002), in the 'miscellaneous' tab, it has a 'flip' option ... ;-)
This should help. I fix my problem some time before i delighted this 'overlay' problem. Beware that this fix is directly bound to your graphic card. Maybe, it doesn't works for all but i tried with different card and it works in all cases.
Hope this helps, here's my config:
AMD ATHLON/WIN2K
Matrox MilleniumII+3DFX Voodoo2
Codecs/player:
BsPlayer 0.85 Build 493
DivX 5.03
XVid (latest 16/02/03)
FFDSHOW 23/09/2002 libavcodec version 0.4.6 build 4624
