I tried with ffdshow 'beta3', "beta 4" and "beta4a". I get the very same problem. BSplayer crash every time I select libmpeg2 for MPEG/MPEG2 decoding. That doesn't happen with any other player (with ffdshow doing the decoding).

Beside that problem, if I select libavcodec for MPEG2 decoding and the DVD decoding check box in ffdshow, BSplayer reads well MPEG2 files (including VOB files) when opened directly but for some reason, if I ask BSplayer to open the same file through the "open DVD" feature, it reads it in a very jerky way.

Could those problems be related to the CPU (AMD Athlon XP) ??
