Hi Guys !
I had today a bit of free time and decided to investigate on this matter.
So first when I tried a few samples on the Apple' site Tizio mentionned, it WORKED
Could see the files with image and sound in BSplayer.
But I realized that .mov files are not all the same and the ones I have trouble with, are coming out from a small Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX550 I have.
So I tried to identify these movies using the latest version of AVIcodec and Gspot...well, none of them could identify them properly.
AVIcodec says : "Opening Error No combination of filters could be found to render the steam for D:\P1080494.mov"
GSPOT says : "
VIDEO Codec: JPEG - Name : Apple Photo JPEG - Status : Codec Status Undetermined"
"
AUDIO codec: RAW : 8-bit unsigned - Info: 8000Hz - Stat: Status undetermined
Still they open and display alright with Quicktime Pro v7.60 (image and sound are OK)
Anyway maybe these info can help for further investigations...THANKS !
