well, i thought the select screen feature was removed because of something like that, but acctually it doesn't detect. At least, it workd with previous version, so it is only the "detection" fault. Is there a debug mode that would allow me to check wether the screen change is detected ?
otherwise should there be special video settings to allow multihead to function properly ( in the case my TNT has less HW features than my GF2) ???
edit: i made another try. when i drag the window on the TNT it disappears... It is quite difficult to make it go make put possible.
perhaps is it because it memorises the parameters of the window ( ie : on secondary screen) and as my secondary screen doesn't display, it never appears back
the only "way i have found" ( not simple, but i cannot isolate the problem) is to desactivate secondary screen, laucnh bsplayer, which reappears on primary diplay. Then i can reactivate secondary display. So That's ok for the window. but it still doesnt work.
editË› : if i use keyboard shortcuts to transfer windows on screens, i can make bsplayer window move and work back again. It just does not work / detect on secondary screen.
Would it be possible to reimplement screen selection in BSplayer ( but with auto select option too) so that i make other investigations ?
on what kind of multihead has bsplayer been successfully tested ?
(just know that GF4 or Radeon multihead is not true multihead,, done by the card and not the OS; under linux you don't use xinerama )
