Hm, maybe some crazy guy will do a directshow filter for tv cards.. (though I dunno if that's possible ;))
Yet, I don't think watching tv with a movie player will be a staggering experience.. I'd recommend
DScaler, it's doing a really great job; esp. if you watch tv in fullscreen mode, the deinterlace filters are great.
