:? Seems to me it's a problem of the (bs-)player program implementation, not of the odec. I've got exactly the same problem as darien's (or sebastian's). A lot of movies can be played properly ONLY with Divx-player, and not with bs- or wm-player or anything else, they do play them but with green. Divx-player plays them perceftly. Virtualdub also shows good video, but it can't play the audio.
Problem is, Divxplayer has limit features. For example, adjusting brightness doesn't work. Or maybe it isn't possible at all with that codec.
