Its a very late answer but maybe it can help someone else as well :

- Go to Options -> Preferences -> Subtitles -> "Online subtitles" tab
- Change "Save downloaded subtitles to" into "Movie folder"

Using the custom parameters "%P\%F%SE" instead will save the subtitle inside the movie folder with exactly the same name as the movie file and without the language code - useful for instance with some TVs that only play subtitle files with names identical to the movie file .
