I have the same issue.
On my version, the steps that were given for the color controls does not work when I try it. None of the controls change anything. I may try to uninstall the software and reinstall it. My only issue with that is I have the "Paid" version of the software, and if I uninstall and reinstall, it will probably ask me for an activation code, and I don't have that. Plus, I don't know how I would get it because when I tried to login, it didn't remember my email address so there's no way BSPlayer will give me my activation code.
