I tried this Strongene PC HEVC/H.265 Decoder but i can succeed in neither bsplayer nor media player .But when i installed Lav Filters program,i can display the movie in Media Player, but not in Bsplayer.
I can display the sample video called "surfing" without index in bsplayer too.I mean you can't take it back or forward.

After downloading and extracting the files, did you run the registration file ? (reg.bat)

Yes.
Surfing video and the cartoon. Unfortunately, I don't have another TS splitter installed on my computer so the one that comes with the codec it's used to split the file and therefore there is no sound. Same thing happens using Elecard's package. Elecard Group | HEVC PlugIn
The filters need lots of optimisation, as my CPU was running around 20 % load but picture was stuttering once in a while.

If you have the filters extracted somwhere, you can use the methode described in this post:

http://forum.bsplayer.com/answered-s...265-codec.html

but replace the filter names from there with the ones you have.

I tried this codec (with run reg.bat), but still no video, only sound.
In MPC-HC works fine even without this codec.
Any idea?

Mirkegrafer is an unknown quantity at this point
Default lenthevcdec.h

I don't understend why BSplayer can't play video x265 and the other players can like: VLC, MPC even WMP?
i am very disapointed, and forced to not use BSP becouse of a stupid codec, you presented solutin here...NOT! if u managed to include, CAZ I WAS NOT, the first Decoder bat file returned with an eror both x64. and the Strongene-DownloadCenter give us a bunch of file in folders with no dll's or bat, or explication how to use, so WHY didnt BS fix this problem in the last updates? is this codec older than a year, u dont think is time to use BSplayer on Hevec codecs?

Same question here, why can other players show h.265 video without problems and BSPlayer not? And how to solve this without installing some 3-rd party plugins or codec packs? Shouldn't BSPlayer be updated to solve this problem, or is the development of this software stopped? I haven't seen a new version in quite a while, and I can't say it's perfect and needs no updates.

Yep, it seems it's dead. All good things seem to come to an end at some point...

Meanwhile, BSPlayer's codec manager was updated and it's installing by default LAV filters, which are used to decode H265 files with no problems. Update to the latest release or install LAV filters as system codec.

I have latest release BS.Player and last version of LAV filters and still H265 files have only sound. There is black movie window or no movie window.

Thumbs down

Can't believe it is 2022 and still BSPlayer doesnt support hevc h265 videos without the need of installing something extra, I dont really know much about computers and its super frustrating not to play my files.

It really was my favorite player but now Idk

On the other side, you can manage by yourself which codec to be used when decoding specific files. Other players don't do that. For example, you can use LAV Filters (which BSPlayer suggest you to install by default) or another HEVC decoder. Other players just use the default built-in decoder with no possibilities to switch to another (maybe better) decoder.
