Est. End time display and ffwd rwd On the playback UI it would be great if based on the amount of playback time remaining, playback speed, and current time of day if the UI could provide an estimated end time (ie End Time: 10:25pm) XBMC does this, and it's a great feature. Also if the video file does not contain any chapter markers it would be great if the forward and back buttons defaulted to moving forward or backwards by 5 minutes. (instead of only having the option of swiping to seek forward) Most video files don't have chapter markers, so the buttons as they sit are not used that often (if at all) |

This is a feature request for the Android BS Player. The program should be able to read the time from the system, it knows how long the video is, and it knows what the playback speed is. Therefore it should be able to calculate what the estimated end time of the video is and display that as a time. IE I start a 90 minute video at 8pm, I am playing the video back at 2x speed, BS Player should be able to tell me that the Estimated end time will be 8:45pm. If I pause for 5 minutes then resume, the Estimated Endtime should be updated to reflect the new estimated End time. |
