BSPlayer problem with windows 7

im using bsplayer 2.43 with windows 7 and after a while in my laptop the brightness drops a litlle. its a new windows 7 feature but i cant understand why bsplayer allows this to happen. i have try to select evr except of internal overlay but im still getting this. any solutions?
Also a lot of times bsplayer freeze if a file is not longer avaliable on the network. ist like bsplayer is trying to access the file forever, cant you set a time limit for that or something?

1. I think Windows 7 is not fully supported yet, so these special new settings could take some time to be taken into consideration (but only BSplayer devs can say something about this)
2. Never tried to play a file that got removed from the new while playing it. It could be an interesting feature to add a timeout variable for these contents playback. Still, only the devs can say something about this
