No surround-sound with AC3 Hi! My problem is, that the intervideo-decoder has to specifically support the used soundcard - and mine isn't supported. PowerDVD correctly plays divx-movies with AC3 on my 5.1 sound-system, but it always stretches the movie to full screen-size. Is it possible to use the Cyberlink audio-decoder to create surround-sound? It seems that with bsplayer it always creates stereo sound instead of surround. |
in preferences, audio tab, "for ac3 decoding, use" have you tried to select cyberlink audio decoder (i.e. powerdvd's) ? I think you should then be able to access its settings by right-clicking the movie window and selecting properties... (I'm not sure but I think it should work) |
I already tried this, but the settings for the cyberlink-decoder are only about two channel audio. There's no word about surround sound. |
