BS Player Pro Latest bugs

Bs Player Pro problems latest

When i try to open certain video file i get pop out message "can't save configuration file!
please reinstall with default settings or choose folder with write permission"
This problem is described in
http://forum.bsplayer.com/answered-s...up-2-51-a.html
But why do i need disable UAC.I dont want it to be disabled it is recommended default setup for windows 7.
Why dont you create exception and make it possible to run with UAC enabled?
..............
Another problem is overlay is not compactible with aero, why is that a problem?Every time i open video file i get
that pop out message.

But the funny thing that with bs player free i dont get can't save configuration file and overlay is not
compactible with aero pop out window, can you explain that to me?

Waisted purchase.

What is "latest"? Well, did you (re)install BS.Player with default settings?

BS.Player (nor any other program) can make an exception to UAC's control. It is Window's UAC (User Account Control) which is controlling all access and privileges and not the other way around (programs do not control UAC)! Lots of (more experienced) users consider UAC a real nuisance.

What "Rendering mode" is selected in Pro (and in free) version? (Pro & free installed on the same PC?)
under (rightclick>) Options > Preferences > Video > [Video rendering]

I suppose that latest is BS Player Pro 2.53.1033.
Done that reinstalled couple of times, default settings, run as admin etc...
What is the point with reinstall?Do i need to reinstall it copule of times in
order to work?I dont need such software on my pc then.
Today i had fresh windows install, and so much problems with bs player pro.And what before i play some video file i must click ok for can't save configuration file, and ok for not compactible with aero.
Thats to bad, biased.

"BS.Player (nor any other program) can make an exception to UAC's control"
Ok then, why dont i get can't save configuration file pop out with
bs player free and uac turn on?

Pro and free version are not installed on the same pc, pro was uninstalled,
and free is installed.

Ok, rendering mode in bs player free is EVR, and i get NO not compactible with aero pop out, rendering mode with bs player PRO is
also EVR but i GET not compactible with aero pop out.

Ok,there are some different rendering modes to choose, but for example
when i choose some other rendering method like internal render overlay
(BS Player Pro), that method is not "memorized" by BS Player Pro,
so when i open some video file, again i get not compactible with aero pop out and EVR is set as default rendering method, and not internal render overlay.

As UAC it's not turned off (for at least the time you need to click on the message window) the message will continue to pop up, even if BSPlayer it's allready on EVR mode.
Offtopic - i disable UAC the first second after windows install finishes and remains that way. As you mentioned elswhere, you don't like a half of player, I don't like a half of an operating system.

I love 7. It's best Windows experience ever. With UAC turned off :wink
With UAC on, it's just a half of an OS.
