Download bsplayer codecs separately Hello, Here is my problem. My computer at word is behind a proxy. And when I install bsplayer, I can't install the codecs as well, because I don't think it's possible to change the connection settings. So I was wondering if I could download them separately to then install them on my computer at work. Thanks for your replies. Ps, I hope my explanation is understandable, cause I'm French  |
To play 90 % of the files you will need to download and install: ffdshow (and allow all video and audio filters), Haali media splitter. |
Thanks adicoto. But most of the videos I'm watching are mkv. What codec am I suppose to install then ? And will it work if it's installed with bsplayer, but apart ? |
For MKVs you need: - MKV splitter (Gabest or Haali media splitter) - AC3Filter - an AVC decoder (such as CoreAVC) BSPlayer's own codec manager it's a feature. Normally, it will use all filters installed on your system. |
Thanks a lot, I'm gonna try right now. |
Great, it works. i installed haali medias splitter, ac3filter, and I couldn't find CoreAVC so I installed ffdshow, just in case, and it worked. Really thank you adicoto !!! |
