BS Player not playing AVI files at all I've got this bug messing with my peacefull afternoon :( For some stupid reason it doesnt support Avi files at all, plays mp3's-mp4's. At the same time WMP, and VLC players are both playing the above mentioned files, but they aren's satisfying me./ Any thoughts? Im using Win7 x64 and Divx Avi Codec Pack Pro. |
And by "not playing" you mean you got an error message, you have a black screen or what ? |

By not playing at all, i meant NOT OPENING THE FILES A_T A_L_L...did i make a point now? I dont get a black screen or anything, it simply doesnt open any of the files i try to open whether its avi or mkv and i havent got any filters on?!! i have deleted the bs player xml and reistalled it 3 times so far but nothing works...whats wrong with it doc? |
Can you please indicate how you open (or in fact try to open) a video-file in BS.Player? Are the file(type)s you try to open associated with BS.Player or do you try to load/play them from the control window? Is BS.Player set to "Auto play"? (under: rightclick > Options > Preferences > General [General settings]) Upon installation of BS.Player did you allow it to internally (i.e. for use by BS.Player only and not interfering with or messing up any other applications) install its preferred codecs/filters? What do you mean by "... I havnt got any filters on"? |
