Color problems

Hi .
I never had problems with bs-player until now.
I have Bs.Player Pro 2.57 Build 1049, and codecs that bs player installed.

I have also
ffdshow-rev3631_2010.11.15_clsid_x64

Win 7 x64,
17.11.2010_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_enu driver for my ATI 5850 1GB DDR 5
Processor is AMD quad core 3,2 ghz.
Monitor is Samsung XL 2370.
I have a fresh new win 7 instalation.

I noticed that in bs player picture is pale. It has low color saturation.
I tryed in options-video-color contorls - no help.
I tryed also preferences-options-ffd show properties - no help.
Maybe different settings of this two above would help ??
Any suggestions ?

I instaled old version of bs player BS.Player Pro 2.53 Build 1034 - no help.
Then i installed again Bs.Player Pro 2.57 Build 1049 - no help.
I also noticed that my series are displayed in full screen instead of in their natural resolution. Movies are ok for that matter.

movie in VLC Player 1.15 version

I love this kind of "help" forums.

I'm afraid that the phrase which you use "no help", doesn't really help to indicate what your problem might be. What do you mean by it?

P.S. Also it's not clear to me what you mean by "I also noticed that my series are displayed in full screen instead of in their natural resolution. Movies are ok for that matter." Full screen display and natural resolution do not necessarily bite each-other. You can always select "Don't resize video in full screen" under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video [General]

Hi and sorry for my english. I have exactly the same problem with Kurtis. I've installed bsplayer on different pc (win 7) and the colours are dull. Something goes wrong with EVR renderer because "Internal renderer overlay" gives me the right colors but it disables aero theme. Could you fix it please?

AERO and OVERLAY will NOT work at the same time, as they are technically incompatible.
