problem playing ogm...
 

hi, i just downloaded and installed ver 0.86.493, but when i tried to play an ogm movie file, it played - with sound and visual, but an error report appeared while it was playing. i tried the debug ver and the same thing happened. i switched back to using ver 0.85, there's sound but no image and no error. the same thing happened with wmp 9, for that it won't even played and an error report came up.

i'm on win xp, directx 8.1, and installed the codec from nimo 5.0 (directvobsub 2.18, ogg vorbis directshow 0.9.9.1, vob directshow filters)

interestingly wmp 6.4 played the ogm file. but bsplayer has a much better sound quality.

any help will be very much appreciated. thanks!!

have you tried build 494 ?
you'll find it in the nightly builds section of the download page

wow thanks Quietseb, it worked!! i didn't try it before since i've tried three builds that failed, but like they ay - you never know until you've tried it!
