Note we've always and consistently advised against using codec-packs! "More" most certainly isn't equivalent to "better" (to the contrary)!
It could most probably also help if you provided more info.
E.g. mention which filter(s)/codec(s) are actually used by BS.Player for playback of a 'problematic movie'.
To find out: (rightclick >) Options > Filters > Advanced.
Make sure to also click on 'Source' and on the small [+]-signs in front of the filters/codecs shown to reveal further info (and access).
That being said, as a pro-user, you're entitled to get direct e-mail support from BS.Player-team itself (instead of from simple fellow-users, like me).
So I would advise you to use the contact-form.

hi thanx for reply, i didnt understand what u wanted me to do? u want to know which codec is being used by the bs player while watching movie?
first thing is its every movie that i play gives me this problem, not a specific one..and when i play movies 3 icons apear on taskbar
1st hali media splitter
2nd ffdshow audi decoder
3rd ffdshow video decoder ( and it shows INPUT: AVCI (libavcodec h264)
is this what u wanted me to tell?
if it is then how to fix this problem? bcz i cant watch a movie without stopping it many times..

Audio channels

Hi
I downloaded the free version 2.57 BS player but has to uninstall it again - It does not allow me to use left or right audio channels I have music tracts that has vocals and audio on separate channels. Why is that? I checked in Options - Filters - Audio decoder - and don't see 1st or 2nd channel. Please advise
Thanks
