BS player error message with EVR, Vista
 

edit: thanks admins for moving this thread to tthe right place! now , here is the problem:

After functioning properly for some time now I get error messages everytime I try to open a file and nothing happens.

This is my PC's config.

Bs Player: 2.58
OS: Windows Vista (TM) Ultimate Service Pack 2 (6.00.6002)
DirectX: 9.0c + 10 + 10.1 + 11
CPU name: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53GHz
CPU speed: 2533MHz
Memory: 2047MB
Screen size: 1360x768 (32bits)
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT , 256MB
Video driver: nvd3dum (Version 8.17.12.5896) (7-9-2010)
Audio device: Realtek High Definition Audio
Audio driver: RTKVHDA.sys (Version 6.0.1.5391) (3-26-2007)

Overlay does not work with Aero and when it switches to EVR everything fails. I tried switching off EVR for another rendering method, but quality drops a lot.

I know some other people has had similar issues, but after a search in these forums I did not quite find a solution. Help much appreciated.
