CanÂ´t play SVCDÂ´and m2v files!

I have follwing problem: After i have installed my win2k new, i canÂ´t play .m2v or svcd files. I become the error "unknown file format ()". I have installed the base2091 codecpack and PowerDVD. All other formats works. I have installed the BSPlayer 086 Build 493, and tested the Build 494. But doesnÂ´t work. :( PLEASE give me help!
