strange "DirecX 7" error when trying 2 open files Hello: I just downloaded BS Player 0.86 bulid 495, however the player will not play any file I try to open. I have tried playing a "wmv", "avi", and even "MP3" file yet it won't open any of them, and I get an error message that says "this version requires DirecX 7". I don't understand why this is happening, especially because I have been able to play these filesin other Media Players which I have. Does anybody know why this is happening and what I can do to solve the problem? Thanks! May |
and what version of directX do you have ? that other players don't require newer versions of directX doesn't mean that bsplayer doesn't P.S. please do not cross post... it's completely useless |

to "quietseb" have you tried the search button? To Quietseb: before you go around spilling your "uncalled for" attitude on people, have you tried the search button yourself?? I just tried it, and got nothing exceptt my own post ... May |
1. the "search button" picture is in my signature which is added to all my posts. It was not directed against you, it just "general advertisement". 2. yes I did try it http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic....hlight=directx probably your spelling was incorrect (direcTx) |
