Default fast forward bug

I cant use the slider in 499 to go forward in vcd or svcd movies. it works fine in media player but not in bsplayer. Also works fine with avis...
If i change the play rate the movie will go to the point of time indicated by the timeline(once). My system is a w2003server

An other q... I have a movie in mp42 format which wont load i think i just need a codec but i cant find anyone that will work... Any ides where i can get one?

Try with ffdshow filter using DivX4 with libavcodec for decoder.

Sorry, I've no idea for your 1st question..

For vcd and svcd files installl elecard mpeg 2 beta. It will fix the problems.
For mp42 go to options, preferencies, video, use divx4 for........

I've the same fast forward problem, bsplayer 499, elecard MPEG 2.1. My OS is also win2003 server, so this bug is probably system-related. I don't have to mention there is no problem in any other player.

Ok adicoto, but even if Elecard 2 beta works, it's still some kind of bug in bsplayer, cause other players can rewind well with 2.1 version :)

So, many players have an MPEG 2 decoder incorporated. They don't use an external codec but they use windows media player window(active movie). And usualy they are not freeware. Bsplayer uses it's own renderer, so it needs external codecs to work ok.

No, I'm talking about free players which use external codecs, for example BestPlayer or VPlayer.
