bs player not showing cyrillic subtitles corectly Hey i was wondering if you could help me solve a problem with my bs player. The problem is that when i play movies with cyrillic subtitle it isn't shown properly.I have already set this but still doesn't work : Right click>Options>Preferences>Subtitles>Font >and i set script to cyrillic. In other media players Cyrillic subtitles work properly. Please help I'm so confused . :happyroll: |
Is "Use new subtitle parser/renderer" (on the same "page", i.e. [Subtitle properties]) selected or not? Try if changing that setting does make a difference. Perhaps verify the actual script used for the subtitles while the movie is running (rightclick > Subtitles > Primary > Subtitle properties > Font ...) |
Sorry, BSPeter, neither of these work and it's very frustrating. I tried mkv file with external CP1251 cyrillic subtitles - doesn't work. I even tried to play mkv file with embedded CP1251 cyrillic subtitles, but in both cases, all I've got was: ???? http://smiles.kolobok.us/madhouse/wacko2.gif **** I'm sorry, I mad a mistake when I muxed mkv file with subtitles. Correctly muxed mkv file with embedded CP1251 cyrillic subtitles actually shows cyrillic subtitles in BS Player. So, my mistake. Nevertheless, external CP1251 subtitles are still shown as: ????? |
