Default Player wont use DivX codec

I have been using the latest player for a while now and it has always used the DivX codec (official one) when playing .AVI files. All of a sudden, without any changes that I am aware of making, it has stopped using it i.e no DivX logo, no controls for picture. While the file still plays, I want to use the DivX codec for the control it gives me over the picture settings. I installed ffDshow and configured it for DivX5 and BSPlayer picked it up and used it for playback. Deleted ffDshow and re-installed DivX but BSPlayer is still not using it. I have checked the player config. and everything seems to be in order so any ideas as to how I can force the player to use the DivX codec for playback?

Thanks.

Default DivX codec

What you need to make sure is that the codec does not have any of the extended options checked as this will prevent BSPlayer from allowing you to control picture settings etc. It is using the DivX codec but hides the fact because of the overlay settings.

Default DivX codec working now

Tnx Eagleeye. I looked at the setting for the codec and one of the options was in fact checked. After taking this off BSPlayer works as it did before.
