weird picture quality bug I'm using bsplayer 0.86.501 (but this bug appears also using the 500 version) and noticed a very weird problem. When i played the sample of the dvdrip "Charlies.Angels.Full.Throttle.DVDRip.DivX-DiAMOND" and i press the 'num 5' button to reset the picture to the original size the picture quality becomes very bad. i see little squares everywhere. BUT when i press the 'num +' button only one time to zoom in a little (so little you don't even notice the difference) the picture quality is perfect again all of the sudden.... So somehow the reset button invoked a picture format which either the codec coulden't handle or bsplayer couldn't handle. I don't know which one it is. maybe someone can check if he or she has the same thing (this sample is only 5,8mb) |
I just tried the same thing with "Shanghai.knights.dvdrip.xvid-Vite", an xvid file as the name sugests, and the ame thing happens. The picture quality is very bad when i use 'num 5' and is back to normal when zooming in just a little (or more that doesn't matter) so i think it is'nt a codec problem, but a bug in bsplayer |
