Unhandled exception - teething problems?

I've been having the worst time finding a player that can play my copy of Solaris.(2002).DVDScr.XViD-DCN and thought I'd found the answer.... but when opening in BS I get the following error:

and I'm still getting sound without picture....am I just dealing with a corrupt file here, or do I need another codex?
