I was using 0.80 version wich was working fine, i never had any bug, but since i switched to 1.0.803 version i can't longer load any file, i have an error message " can't create primary surface". I tried to open all types of files, none works. I reinstalled 0.80 version.

Try different settings of "Use overlay Mode" or "Use VMR-9" (resp. "Use RGB-overlay") under "Options"/"Preferences"/"Video".
