BSOD

I have BSPlayer version 1 build 803. While I was watching a .avi file, a few minutes into the video, I get the BSOD. It says:

Is there a way I can stop getting the BSOD while watching the .avi file?

Windows XP Professional
AMD Duron 900MHz
28GB HD
256MB RAM
4MB ATI RageMobility (NEC) Video Card
