Video Mixing Renderer 9 Troubles
 
I selected :use VMR,tried to open a divx (DX50) file,and i got the message
saying Video Mixing Renderer is not installed on my system and I need to install Direct X 9.0.I had Direct X installed,I did ita again ,but the same message appears.Help!!!!!!

VMR is a part of DirectX 9. So, you must have at least version 9 of DirectX. You can verify this running from start/run, the command dxdiag. The window that appears states the version of DirectX installed.

I have Direct X 9.0b,Avi Codec Says I also Have Video Mixing Renderer 9,but BS Player says it is not on the system (the file is quart.dll in system32 directory).

Yes, you are right. Tested myself now. Strange thing. Once worked, now is not working. Gosts must be haunting our computers. :lol:

Doing some checking, dxdiag says DirectX 8.1 !!!!
I have installed myself 9 !!!
Some restore have been made, even I haev system restore disabled !!! I finished reinstalling DirectX 9. Restart, see what is happeninig.

Me again. Definetly on DirectX 9.0b. VMR9 working ok. (Except for the subtitles bug)
