New Version - Black Screen Windows 2000 900 duron 128 ram Savage3D Chip with latest Microsoft drivers (no drivers were ever released by s3 for 2000 it seems) DirectX 9b Works fine with BSPlayer 0.86 Build 501 Does not work with latest version BSPlayer was working fine on Windows XP but the computer got screwed up so I installed Windows 2000. Then I got the latest version of BSPlayer and it doesn't work with Xvids and Divx's. The screen is black and there is sound. The only thing on the screen is a small green line, kinda like a cursor or caret or whatever those things are called when you are typing to mark the spot. I first installed the Kazaa Lite Codec pack, then I went and installed proper Divx 5.51 and Nic's Xvid and ffdshow. There was an option when installing Kazaa Codec Pack to have Divx take over Xvid and I ticked that I believe I'm not sure how that fits into the whole picture. Happy using old bsplayer for now hehe. |
I'm dealing with the same problem... i do have the sound but no picture. However, when I first installed the latest version of bsplayer there was both: picture and sound. Then I went on doing other things, came back to start bsplayer once again and this problem occured. Now it's impossible to see any DivX whatsover. Just black screen |
Try a different setting of overlay or VMR-9 at Video-options/preferences. (Concerning the option "to have Divx take over Xvid"have a look here.) |
