CodecManager ignoring some codecs After a clean Windows 10 install (Pro x64), CodecManager installed only 4 out of the 7 codecs available. The ignored ones are: FFDShow (version available 1.2.4422.0) MPEG audio decoder (version available 1.0.0.4) Haali media splitter (version available 1.10.262.12) If I check them and hit "Install selected" nothing happens. If I also check already installed codecs along with them, a dialog telling me which filters will be installed shows up, but it only contains those already installed, not these. I don't want to install them separately, as a codec issue is one of the reasons I did a windows reinstall. Previously, I had Windows 8.1, and upgraded to Windows 10, and this is the first time I've had this issue. I tried rebooting, running codecmanager as Admin, disabling the UAC - no dice. Is it a server problem, or can I solve it? Thank you! |
Codecs in question here are obsolete. We will add option to install them anyway in next version. |
