BS PLAYER DOESNT WORK ON MY EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE

On my external hard drive doesnt work at all!! When i try to open a file with it its only opens the blue menu, nothing more!! when i copy the file to my main ssd it worked fine!! I used to play all the file from the external at my old pc...anyone know why this happening and how i can fix it?? Thanks in advance!
