bsplayer can not running a movie Hello everyone, Unfortunately lately I can not run movies with the player. No matter what I did, I deleted and reinstalled, I downloaded another CODEC and nothing worked! I added a link to the video of the problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neqCrYZuv2U please help :( |
Same Issues Dude did you find ant solution? I got the same problem, i have spend many hours but nothing.... :mad |
had same problem.. I had same problem, i dont know if will work for you.. First install codecs.. found that K-Lite Codec pack is very good. I think that bs player download old codecs.. so its better to find something newer.. I found that bsplayer wont open different files, but files coded in exactly same way (files that are grabbed from internet, like youtube ect.), so I tried to rename file name, and it worked!!!!! Strange but bsplayer dont reed files with non-standard symbols and letters in filename.. (like : ❥ ✪ ∖ ¡ ...) You can download some program which can investigate in which format is file coded and what codec you need like MediaInfo or VideoInspector. :wink:wink |
This seems to be rather new, I was able to play files with foreign characters in name in January 2020. A few months later even the same file doesn't work... |
Version 2.75 build 1088 the bug is still there. Same as this: http://forum.bsplayer.com/bug-report...me-arabic.html Doubleclicking a file with something like л, 士 or ⁄ in name opens the bsplayer, but it won't play. If the file is in playlist, the one after it plays instead. If I press skip and a file with such character is next, nothing happens and I have to skip again to get to the file after it. |
