mkv files Why can't I watch all mkv files? There is only sound in some mkv files. |
OMG it seems I posted in the wrong category. Mods please remove the thread. |
Which codecs did you install at BSPlayer installation ? |
All codecs requested by the program were installed. Some mkv files I can watch, some not. I download mkv files from torrent (new movies, series). Mkv files that I can not watch, can be opened with another program. Therefore, the files are not corrupted. |
There is no problem with corruption, rather of a bad combination of codecs. Did you install Haali media splitter and LAV filters ? If so, uninstall Haali. |
MKV files Hello guys, I cannot reproduce MKV files with a fresh, new installation of bsplayer (free). Some of them reproduce audio only, some of them nothing. It works for other player on my sysyem (Windows 10 x64) but I really like BSPlayer. I downloaded all required codecs during installation, then I run as administrator the "codecmanager.exe" on installation folder, and it downloads -again- 5 out of 8 codecs. It never downloads nor install these: FFDShow MPEG2 Audio decoder Haali media splitter I select each one and click on Install button, but nothing happens. I am seeing this error on old and new forum messages, Is there a link you can share to a definitive solution? Thank you, Francisco |
