There is another post concerning XP SP2. The reported error was ntdll.dll IIRC. Maybe somebody can move this post to that place. But isn't sp2 still a beta yet ?
No , it is also about oleaut32.dll

This worked for me....
 
After installation of Winxp sp2 beta, BS & WM players produce an "Access violation at address 77121767 in module 'oleaut32.dll'".

Solved it by uninstalling Morgan Stream Switcher & reinstalling all codecs Video + Audio. At least this worked for me...
