BSPlayer can't auto-rotate videos filmed vertically (but WMP can)
 

This is an old problem that has been around for a while and I hope to see it fixed soon but as you know, Windows Media Player (with K-Lite) and the thumbnails show and plays personal videos filmed with my phone correctly regardless if they've been filmed horizontally or vertically, however BSPlayer (also with K-lite) only plays them Horizontally and there is no option to rotate it 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise.
How is it that a the default media player for Windows 7 plays things well but the updated BSPlayer can't? Am I missing a setting or something?

Hi buddy, did you find the way, even am trying similar stuff.

You need to use the madVR renderer. VMR and EVR don't support the rotation meta tag unfortunately.

Unfortunately, I seem to have issues with using madVR...
