gircobain is an unknown quantity at this point

Subs in mkv are not displayed after rename

For some reason, subtitles muxed into matroska files are not displayed anymore after i rename the .mkv file, even though the player lists those subs under the subtitles menu
If i rename the file back to its original filename, subs are ok again
